Gold eases to Rs 13,370 in India

NEW DELHI : Standard gold marginally fell by Rs 30 to end at Rs 13,370 per ten gram Monday here in the bullion market mainly on brisk selling by stockists.

Gold ornaments fell by Rs 220 per ten gram while sovereign ruled flat at Rs 10,750 per piece of eight gram.

Silver weekly-based delivery dropped by Rs 110 to Rs 18,250 per kg while silver ready held steady at Rs 18,350 per kg

Silver coins also declined by Rs 100 to Rs 26,900 for buying and Rs 27,000 for selling of 100 pieces.

Analysts said, selling pressure gathered momentum after the gold in overseas markets fell by nearly six dollar to $834 an ounce.
